Leading in Youth Work

An ILM Award in Leadership Programme

“I have more understanding and knowledge on what I am doing and how to use it more effectively and more tools to address the challenges and the opportunities in my role.”
- Linda McGlynn, YoMo

This programme will allow you to develop as senior managers and leaders of these vital organisations to continue to support Scotland’s young people.

Working with peers from across Scotland, you will have the opportunity to consider strategic questions facing both the sector and your organisation, explore the range of opportunities available and reflect on how your learning might impact your organisation. Invest time in identifying and developing your leadership strengths as you take your organisation forward.

This year Youth Scotland are offering this opportunity to female leaders at senior and management level. In doing so, we hope to address the under-representation of female leaders on previous courses and ensure that the sector is as diverse as the young people it supports.
