Growing Better Youth Work in Dumfries and Galloway

What is this project?

Growing Better Youth Work in Dumfries and Galloway is a new Youth Scotland project delivered by Area Development Workers Amy and Jill. The aim of this project is to improve opportunities and outcomes for young people in D&G, working alongside groups to provide support with:

• The practical and paperwork elements of youth work
• Resources
• Funding
• Staff and volunteer training
• Networking events
• Accredited youth awards
• Delivering sessions for young people

Keep an eye on the Youth Scotland Eventbrite for in-person training opportunities coming soon to Dumfries and Galloway through this project and contact our Area Development Workers to learn more or set up a visit where we can deliver activities in your youth group (including  games, tie-dye, ‘cakeshakes’, special effects make-up and more!):
