Inform 100 Consultation Group Terms and Conditions

The Consultation Group will be asked to review and input via a private Facebook group on all manner of topics relating to improving Scotland’s public service, specifically from the perspective of young people.

By joining the Consultation Group you agree to the following terms and conditions and those laid out by the Facebook platform.

General Notice

Please carefully review the following basic rules that govern your use of the Inform 100 Consultation Group. Please note that your use of the Facebook group constitutes your unconditional agreement to follow and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you (the "User") do not agree to them, do not use or remain in the group.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Your use of the Facebook group following any such change constitutes your continuing agreement to follow and be bound by these Terms and Conditions as changed. For this reason, we encourage you to review these Terms and Conditions periodically.

In addition to the specific Terms and Conditions here, you also agree to be bound by Facebook’s Terms and Conditions and Facebook’s Community Standards

User Definition

By applying to the Inform 100 Consultation Group, you assert the following as a ‘User’:

  • You are currently resident in Scotland;
  • Are aged 16-25;
  • Ready to use Facebook for the purposes outlined in this project;
  • Understand that Inform 100 administrators will view your Facebook profile to establish criteria are met.

Permitted and Prohibited Uses

You may use the Facebook Group for the sole purpose of participating in sharing and exchanging of Inform 100 ideas with other members. The purpose of the Inform 100 Facebook group is to gain a wider understanding of topics raised from the Young Advisors group, it is not a forum for pushing personal, political or ideological agendas.

You may not use the Facebook group to violate any applicable national, or international law.

You may not upload or transmit any material that infringes or misappropriates any person's copyright, patent, trademark, or disclose via the Facebook Group any information the disclosure of which would constitute a violation of any confidentiality obligations you may have.

You are strictly prohibited from communicating on or through the Facebook Group any unlawful, harmful, offensive, threatening, abusive, libelous, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, profane, hateful, fraudulent, sexually explicit, racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable material of any sort, including, but not limited to, any material that encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any applicable national, or international law.

You are expressly prohibited from compiling and using other Users' personal information, including addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses or other contact information that may appear on the Facebook Group, for the purpose of creating or compiling marketing and/or mailing lists and from sending other Users unsolicited materials, whether by facsimile, email, or other technological means.

You also are expressly prohibited from distributing Users' personal information to third-party parties.

Any personal data you provide during Inform 100 will be covered by Youth Scotland’s Privacy Policy, which can be found on this webpage
