Youth Scotland and Social Enterprise Academy - Leading in Youth Work – an ILM Award in Leadership Programme for managers and senior staff in Voluntary Youth Work Organisations

This programme will allow you to develop as senior managers and leaders of these vital organisations to continue to support Scotland’s young people.

The six-day programme starts on 24 January 2022

Strengthen your abilities and confidence in your leadership:

  • Develop greater awareness and confidence in your leadership approach
  • Enhance your skills to motivate, engage and lead others
  • Learn from your peers and build a network of support
  • Explore the challenges and opportunities you face in the youth work sector in Scotland

Programme Details

Module 1: 24 Jan - in person, Edinburgh & 25 Jan - online
Module 2: 21 Feb - online & 22 Feb - online
Module 3: 21 Mar - online & 22 Mar - in person – Edinburgh

Qualification: By completing the programme, you are eligible to achieve an Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Award in Leadership at SCQF Level 9. You must attend the whole programme and complete one assessment.

Cost: £340 (this is highly-subsidised by Scottish Government via the National Voluntary Youth Work Organisations Support Fund).
