Autism Support and Transition Practitioner - HOPE for Autism

HOPE for Autism operates in North Lanarkshire and has been supporting autistic people and families for almost twenty years. The charity has grown significantly during this period and we are ambitious for the future development of our autism support services.

There is an exciting opportunity for an Autism Support and Transition Practitioner to join our staff team. This role will focus on providing support for children, adults and their families/carers, ensuring that both emotional and practical support are provided. A key aspect to this role will be to support and develop transition pathways for autistic people. There will be a need to work together with autistic children, young people and adults. This role requires further development of a support service that includes collaborative work with parents, carers, partners and the staff team.

The ability to record and monitor information, and an aptitude for collaborative working and partnership development is essential to this role.

This role will require an empathetic and passionate approach to the opportunities and possibilities for autistic people.
